Workshops & Events

Independent Music Jam Nights are just for current and past students of Independent Music Academy. Jam Nights are relaxed, like getting together to play some music with friends. Choose one or two songs from the list of songs and our mentors will be your backing band. Prefer to perform solo? That's okay too. Friends and family are of course, welcome.

Independent Music Academy Concerts are held every 6 months. We hold two concerts: one for our adult students and another for students under the age of 18. Our Concerts provide an opportunity for our clients perform at a real venue with a fantastic backing band featuring the staff of Independent Music. Our Concerts are really good fun and are open to all current students of Independent Music.

Clinics and workshops provide an opportunity for students to learn about specific musical topics and to hear from some of the best and most experienced musicians out there. From workshops on amplifier modelling, recording and music production, to clinics with musicians including Michael Dolce and Larry Mitchell, our workshops & clinics provide a unique and fun opportunity for everyone.
