Independent Music Jam Nights are a bit like our half yearly Concerts, there are some differences though... - Jam Night is only for current or past clients of Independent Music Academy. - Jam Nights are more relaxed, it’s like getting together to play some music with friends. - You choose the music that you want to play from a list. Ask your Mentor for the list. - Ticket's are $5 per person if you want to play with the band or if you just want to come along to watch. - You can play up to 2 songs! - If you don't want the band to play with you that's ok too, you can play up to 2 songs. Tickets close for performers Thursday, one day before the Jam Night. General Tickets are available up until the event starts. Where: IMA Ashgrove (Shop 16, Ashgrove Central, 219-223 Waterworks Road, Ashgrove 4060) When: 6:30pm, the second Friday of every month How: BYO Food & Drink, No refunds, Only IMA clients can be performers. Friends and family of performers welcome.

Every 6 months we run two separate Concerts at Independent Music. One is for our adult clients and one is for our clients who are under the age of 18. At our Concerts our clients perform at a real venue with a fantastic backing band featuring the staff of Independent Music. The music that we have performed at Independent Music Concerts has ranged from Karnivool and Metallica, through to Fiona Apple and Paramore. From Elvis Costello to Elvis Presley with some Jazz, Funk and Nordic Viking Metal thrown in! Our Concerts are really good fun and are open to all current clients of Independent Music. If you would like to perform at one of our Concerts, chat with your mentor to start preparing your song!
